Genre Update

UPDATE: Hannah Lassner and I have just switched our ideas of what we wanted to do. It goes a little something like this...

• The Breakdown!

• Its an on screen narration of who a certain character is. ...

• This character will most likely be a girl and we will tell the audience... 

•  what her school, neighborhood, friends and family are like. 

• The voice over matches the B Roll and action on screen

• Voice over must be explanatory and clear for audience!

• Some examples of this are Forrest Gump, Goodfellas, and Goodwill Hunting!!!

What's up everyone! Today, February 20th, 2019 is the start of my foundation portfolio project.

Week 1, Post 1 

My partner Hannah Lassner and I have discussed upon what genre we would like to do for our film opening. We are truly stuck between a horror opening and an action opening. In the first couple of days we have done research on each genre and are trying to narrow in on our options. We are also bouncing ideas off of each other to try and see if anything clicks. Equipment was discussed upon and we decided that we'll be using a professional camera along with the editing system Adobe Premier Pro.
